2025 was one for the books with returning riders, new friends, and a whole lot of joy.
We are now closed for a few months while our family takes a well-earned break. That said, closed does not mean idle. We will be dreaming up new paths, imagining future additions, and quietly improving things behind the scenes so we can bring even more magic when we roll back into action.

Thank you for a wonderful 2025 season at Tennessee Thunder in Lebanon, Oregon. Our Holiday Light Train Rides and Twilight Tracks brought so many families together this Fall and Winter, and we are grateful for the continued support from our community and visitors throughout the Willamette Valley.
Tennessee Thunder is now closed for the season.
We loved welcoming families from Lebanon, Albany, Corvallis, and Sweet Home to enjoy our quarter scale train, festive lights, and holiday atmosphere.
We plan to reopen tentatively in Summer 2026. Please check back for updates and future train ride announcements.

Seasonal Fun for Everyone
Looking for family-friendly train rides in Lebanon, Oregon? You’ve come to the right place! At Tennessee Thunder, trains aren’t just for getting from Point A to Point B — they’re for making memories, giggles, and maybe a little pumpkin spice magic along the way. Tennessee Thunder is proudly family-owned and operated by Matthew and Ashley LeFever, with plenty of help (and bossing around) from their two conductors-in-training, Reeve and Matley.
Our pride and joy is a 1/4-scale train that winds through our four-acre private park, perfect for things to do with kids or a fun family outing. Big enough to feel like an adventure, small enough that you won’t lose Grandma. Well… you might lose Grandpa since he could get to chatting with Matt about the vintage equipment and vehicles around the yard. It’s the kind of place where kids can run, parents can breathe, and everyone leaves with a smile (and maybe a pumpkin or two).
Seasonal Fun on the Tracks
Summer Rides
When the sun’s out, the tracks are rolling! Enjoy spacious areas to roam and explore, along with 1/4-scale train rides through our scenic park. Think of it as recess, but with a train whistle.
October – Fall Train Rides & Pumpkin Patch
Hop aboard for crisp-air rides through autumn leaves, then grab the perfect pumpkin straight from our Lebanon, Oregon pumpkin patch. Our fall family fun activities are perfect for kids and adults alike. The only thing spooky is how fast the kids grow between visits!
December – Holiday Night Light Rides
Step into a winter wonderland with our holiday light train rides. Featuring over 9 miles of sparkling lights and festive decorations, our park transforms into a scene that we’ve been told is like a Hallmark movie. Family holiday activities don’t get much cozier than this. Hot cocoa optional, wonder guaranteed.
